Revelation 5

¹ Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the One sitting on the throne. Writing covered both sides. Seven seals locked it tight.

⁵ But one of the elders said to me, "Stop crying! The Lion from Judah's tribe has won! The Root of David has beaten death! He can open the scroll and its seven seals!"

⁸ When He took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders dropped down before the Lamb. Each one held a harp. Each one held golden bowls full of sweet smoke. These are the prayers of God's people.

¹¹ Then I looked. I heard many, many angels! They circled the throne, the living beings, and the elders. Too many to count! Thousands upon thousands! Ten thousands upon ten thousands!

¹³ Then I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and on the sea. Everything in them. All of them. "To the One on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and power, forever and ever!"
