Revelation 6

¹ Then I watched. The Lamb broke open the first seal. One of the four living beings spoke. His voice sounded like thunder. "Come!"

³ When the Lamb broke open the second seal, I heard the second living being. "Come!"

⁵ When the Lamb broke open the third seal, I heard the third living being. "Come!" A black horse. Its rider held scales in his hand.

⁷ When the Lamb broke open the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living being. "Come!"

⁹ When the Lamb broke open the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been killed. They were killed for holding on to God's word and for the truth they spoke.
