Genesis 1

¹ In the beginning God made it all, the ground below, the sky above.

⁶ God spoke again. "Let space split the water in two."

⁹ God spoke again. "Let the water pull back to one place. Let dry ground appear." It happened.

¹¹ God spoke again. "Let plants grow from the earth. Grass. Trees with fruit that holds seeds inside." It happened.

¹⁴ God spoke again. "Let lights hang in the sky to mark day from night, to mark the seasons and days and years."
