Mark 7

¹ Pharisees came. Teachers of the law came all the way from Jerusalem.

¹⁴ Jesus pulled the crowd close again. "Everyone! Listen! Let this sink all the way down."

²⁴ Jesus left. He went far north to Tyre and Sidon. He walked into a house. He hoped no one would know. But they found out.

²⁵ A woman heard he was there. Her little daughter had an evil spirit that would not let go. The woman ran in and dropped to his feet.

²⁹ Jesus smiled. "Because you said that, go home. The demon left your daughter."
