Who Is Jesus?

Jesus crosses the lake. But the crowds will not let Him go. They climb into boats. They walk around the shore. When they finally catch up, they crowd around Him, out of breath. "How did You get here?" They cannot figure Him out.

Jesus sees right through them. "You followed Me because I filled your bellies. That is the only reason you are here." His voice goes firm. "Stop working for food that goes bad. Work for the food that lasts forever. That is what truly matters."

The crowd pushes back. "Show us a sign! Give us proof!" Jesus opens His arms wide. "My Father sends the true bread from heaven. And I am that bread. I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to Me will never be hungry again. Never thirsty again."
