Mark 8

¹ Around that time a huge crowd came together again. They had no food left. Jesus called his followers close.

⁶ He told the crowd to sit on the ground. He took the seven loaves. He gave thanks to God. He broke them. He handed the pieces to his followers to pass out. They gave the bread to everyone.

⁸ Everyone ate until they were full. After that they picked up seven baskets of leftovers!

¹⁴ His followers forgot to bring bread. They had only one loaf in the boat.

¹⁵ Jesus warned them. "Watch out! Guard yourselves against the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod."
