Mark 14
Jesus ate dinner in Bethany at Simon the leper's house. A woman came in carrying a beautiful jar made of white stone. Inside was the most expensive perfume money could buy. She cracked the jar open. She poured the whole thing over Jesus' head.
Some people got angry fast. They muttered to each other, "What a waste!"
The first day of the Festival of Flat Bread arrived. The day when families killed the Passover lamb. Jesus' disciples came to him. "Where do you want us to get the Passover meal ready?"
"He'll take you upstairs. You'll see a big room, all set up and ready. Make the meal there."
When evening came, Jesus arrived with the twelve.
