Exodus 4

¹ Moses shook his head. "What if they do not trust me? What if they turn away? They will say, Yahweh never came to you!"

⁶ Yahweh said more. "Put your hand inside your robe." Moses put his hand in. He pulled it out. White! Like snow! Sick skin covered his hand!

⁹ "If they still turn away from both signs, do this. Take water from the river. Pour it on dry dirt. Right there it will turn to blood!"

¹⁸ Moses went back to Jethro. He said, "Let me go back to my people in Egypt. I need to see if they are still alive." Jethro said, "Go in peace."

²² "Then tell Pharaoh this. Yahweh says, Israel is my son! My first son!"
