Slavery in Egypt
A new Pharaoh takes the throne. Many years have passed. He does not know Joseph. He does not remember the man who saved Egypt from hunger. He looks out at the growing crowd of Israelites and feels one thing. Fear.
Pharaoh turns the Israelites into slaves. They carry heavy loads under the burning sun from morning to night. They mix mud and shape bricks for his great cities. Men with whips stand over them. Anyone who slows down gets hit. The work never stops.
But the harder Pharaoh pushes, the more the Israelites grow. More babies cry in the night. More tents go up across Goshen. Pharaoh watches them spread and his fear turns dark. What if they join his enemies? He must crush them before it is too late.
