The Seven Seals
The Lamb breaks the first seal. One of the living beings shouts like thunder. Come. A white horse bursts into view. Its rider grips a bow. Someone puts a crown on his head. He rides out to win, and he will not stop winning.
The Lamb breaks the second seal. A living being cries out. Come. A red horse charges forward, deep red like blood. The rider holds a huge sword. He has power to rip peace away from the earth. People will turn and kill each other.
The Lamb breaks the third seal. A black horse steps out. Its rider holds a set of scales in his hand. A voice calls from among the living beings. A tiny bit of wheat costs a whole day of pay. Three small handfuls of barley cost the same. But do not touch the oil or the wine.
