Luke 6

¹² In those days Jesus went out to a mountain to pray. He stayed there all night praying to God.

¹³ When morning came, he called his followers to him. He picked twelve of them. He called them apostles.

¹⁷ Jesus came down the mountain with them and stood on a flat place. A large crowd of his followers was there. A huge number of people had come from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coast near Tyre and Sidon. They came to hear him and to be healed from their sicknesses.
