Jesus in Capernaum

Jesus and His new friends walked into Capernaum together. They went to Peter's house, a small home near the water. The smell of the sea came through the windows. This little place became their home base. Here they would eat, rest, and talk long into the night.

Inside, Peter's mother-in-law was burning up with fever. Jesus touched her hand. The fever left. Just like that. She jumped up and started making food for everyone. The sun dropped low. They sat together and ate. And that small house filled with the sound of laughing.

Night fell, and people started showing up at the door. They brought friends and family who were being hurt by evil spirits. Some spirits screamed when they saw Jesus. He told them to be quiet. He forced them out, one by one. Every single one of them left.
