Luke 1

⁸ One day it was time for Zechariah's group to work. He went into God's house to do his job as a priest.

¹¹ Right then an angel from the Lord showed up! He stood on the right side of the altar where the incense burned.

¹⁸ Zechariah said to the angel, "How can I be sure this is true? I am old. My wife is old."

²⁶ Six months later, God sent the angel Gabriel to a tiny town in Galilee. The town was called Nazareth.

³¹ "You will get pregnant. You will carry a baby boy in your belly. You will give birth to a son. Name him Jesus."
