Luke 23

¹ Every single one of them stood up. They pulled Jesus to Pilate.

⁶ Pilate heard that word. Galilee. "This man comes from there?"

¹⁸ The crowd roared back as one voice. "Take him away! Give us Barabbas instead!"

²⁴ Pilate gave the order. He would give them what they wanted.

²⁶ Soldiers dragged Jesus through the streets. They grabbed a man walking in from the country. His name was Simon. He was from Cyrene. They made him carry the cross behind Jesus.
