1 Samuel 15

¹ Samuel walked right up to Saul and said, "Yahweh sent me to you. I poured oil on your head and made you king over his people Israel. Now listen! Listen close to what Yahweh says!"

¹⁰ Yahweh spoke to Samuel.

²⁴ Saul's voice cracked. "I sinned! I broke what Yahweh said to do! I did not listen to your words! The people scared me. I gave them what they wanted."

³² Then Samuel said, "Bring King Agag of the Amalekites to me!" Agag walked over slow and easy. He smiled. Death had passed him by.
