1 Kings 3

⁵ That night Yahweh showed up in Solomon's dream. God spoke. "What do you want? Ask me. I will give it to you."

¹⁵ Solomon woke up! His heart pounded. Just a dream. He got up and went back to Jerusalem. He stood before the ark that held Yahweh's covenant promise. He killed animals and burned them. He killed more and left them whole. Then he threw a huge party for everyone who worked for him.

¹⁶ Two women walked up and stood before the king. They sold their bodies to men for money.
