1 Corinthians 7

¹ You asked me some questions. First one: yes, sometimes it is good for a man not to marry.

⁸ Here is what I tell people who are not married. And people whose husband or wife died. It is good to stay single like me.

¹⁷ Here is the rule. Stay in the life God gave you when he picked you. I tell this to every church.

¹⁸ Were you cut in the Jewish way when God called you? Do not try to undo it. Were you not cut? Do not get cut now.

²⁵ You asked about people who never married. I do not have words straight from Jesus about this. But here is what I think. Jesus has been kind to me. You can trust me.
