Joseph in Egypt
Israel has twelve sons now. They live together in tents and watch the flocks. But the brothers fight. Old hurts come back again and again. Sharp words fly between the tents at night. Israel tries to hold them together, but the anger runs too deep. These brothers cannot live side by side.
Joseph is seventeen. He walks out with his brothers to watch the sheep under the hot sun. He stays near the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah. Out in the fields, he sees them doing wrong things. Joseph watches with sharp eyes. He says nothing to their faces. Not yet.
Joseph goes home and tells his father every wrong thing his brothers did. Every word. The brothers find out. Their faces go hard. Their eyes go cold. From that day, they hate Joseph. He told on them, and they will never forget it.
