Revelation 18

¹ After that, another angel! Coming down from heaven with so much power his glory lit up the whole earth like the sun breaking over the hills.

⁴ Another voice from heaven. "Get out of her, my people! Do not touch her sins, or her pain will become yours too!"

⁷ "She bragged. She threw parties. She lived for fun. So give her that much pain and grief. She whispers to herself, 'I sit like a queen! No widow, me! I will never cry!'"

⁹ The kings who slept with her and rolled in her riches will cry and pound their chests when they see the smoke rising from her burning body.

¹¹ The traders of the earth will cry. They will shake their heads and wipe their eyes. No one buys their stuff anymore.
