Revelation 11

¹ A measuring stick was put in my hand, like a rod. Someone said, "Get up and measure God's temple! Measure the altar. Count the people who worship there."

³ "I will send my two witnesses to speak for me. They will tell my message for one thousand two hundred sixty days, dressed in rough cloth made from goat hair."

⁵ If anyone tries to hurt them, fire shoots out of their mouths! It burns their enemies to ash! Anyone who wants to kill them will die this way.

⁷ When they finish telling everyone what they saw, the beast from the deep hole will come up and fight them. He will win. He will kill them both.

⁹ People from every tribe, every group, every language, every nation will stare at their dead bodies for three and a half days. No one will bury them.
