Philippians 1

¹ From Paul and Timothy. We serve Christ Jesus. To all the people who belong to God. You are holy people in Christ Jesus. You live in Philippi. This letter is for you and the leaders and helpers there too.

¹² Brothers and sisters, I need you to know something! What happened to me pushed the Good News forward. It did not stop it!

¹⁹ I know how this will end. Rescue. You are praying for me! The Spirit of Jesus Christ is giving me everything I need.

²⁷ Only one thing really matters! Live in a way that matches the Good News about Christ. Then it will not matter if I come see you or stay far away. I will hear the same news. You are standing firm. One Spirit. One heart. Fighting side by side for the faith of the Good News.
