¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses in the Sinai desert. The Tent of Meeting stood right there. First day of the second month. Israel had walked out of Egypt one year before. Yahweh said,

⁴⁷ But the Levites were not in this count. They were set apart from all the other tribes.
