Matthew 24

¹ Jesus left the temple. His followers walked up beside him and pointed at the huge buildings.

⁷ "Nation will fight nation. Kingdom will attack kingdom. Food will run out. Sickness will spread. The ground will shake and crack open in different places."

⁹ "They will grab you and hurt you. They will kill you. Every nation will hate you because of me."

¹⁰ "When that happens, many people will turn away from their faith. They will turn on each other. They will hate each other."

¹¹ "False teachers will show up everywhere. They will lie and say God sent them. They will lead crowds of people away from the truth."
