¹ "The Kingdom of Heaven is like this. Ten young women grabbed their oil lamps and went out to meet the man getting married."

⁷ All ten women woke up fast! They jumped up and got their lamps ready.

¹⁰ While the foolish ones were gone buying oil, the man getting married showed up! The five wise women who were ready went inside with him to the wedding party. Then someone shut the door and locked it.

¹⁴ "The Kingdom is like a man who went on a long trip far away. Before he left, he called his servants together. He gave them his money to take care of while he was gone."

²⁰ The servant who got five bags came up. He was holding five more bags in his hands. "Master, you gave me five bags. I made five more!"
