Luke 16
Jesus told his followers another story. "A rich man hired someone to watch over all his money. People told the rich man this worker was wasting it all."
The worker said to himself, "What will I do? My boss is kicking me out. I am too weak to dig ditches. I am too ashamed to sit on the street and beg."
He called in every person who owed his boss money. He said to the first one, "How much do you owe?"
The boss found out. He could not believe it. He praised the sneaky worker for being so smart! People who love darkness are smarter about their own world than people who live in the light.
"You cannot work for two masters. You will love one and hate the other. You will hold on to one and push the other away. You cannot work for God and money at the same time!"
