John 9

¹ As Jesus walked along, he saw a man. The man had been blind from the day he was born.

⁶ After he said this, Jesus spit on the ground. He made mud with the spit. He put the mud on the blind man's eyes.

⁷ Then he said, "Go wash in the pool of Siloam." Siloam means Sent. The man went. He washed. He came back seeing!

⁸ His neighbors were shocked! The people who had seen him asking for money said, "Wait! Is this not the man who used to sit and ask for money?"

¹³ They brought the man to the Pharisees. He had been blind before.
