Genesis 50

4 When the crying stopped, Joseph went to the men who served Pharaoh. "If I matter to you at all, take a message to Pharaoh for me."

10 They reached a place called Atad. Past the Jordan River. There they cried out loud with deep, tearing sobs. Joseph cried for his father seven days straight.

12 Jacob's sons did everything he told them.

15 Their father was dead. Fear dropped on Joseph's brothers like a shadow. "What if Joseph has been waiting? What if he finally pays us back for everything we did to him?"

24 Joseph called his brothers close. "My time is ending. But God remembers you! He will come! He will lead you out of this land and take you home to the land he promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!"
