Exodus 20

¹ Then God spoke! Listen! These are his words:

¹² "Honor your father! Honor your mother! Then you will live a long time in the land Yahweh your God is giving you!"

¹⁸ The people saw it all. Thunder. Lightning. The loud horn. Smoke pouring off the mountain. Fear grabbed them. They backed away. Shaking from head to toe.
