Exodus 16
They packed up and left Elim. The whole group of Israel went into the wild desert of Sin, between Elim and Sinai. It was the fifteenth day of the second month since they had left Egypt.
While Aaron spoke to all the people of Israel, they turned and looked toward the wild desert. All at once, the glory of Yahweh blazed out from inside the cloud!
That night, birds called quail came down and covered the camp like a blanket! In the morning, drops of water sat on the ground all around the tents.
When the water dried up, something strange sat on the ground! Tiny white flakes lay everywhere, thin as frost, like nothing they had ever seen before!
"Yahweh says this: Each person should pick up only what they need for one day. Take about two quarts for each person in your tent."
