Ephesians 1

¹ I am Paul. God sent me out as an apostle for Christ Jesus. I am writing to the holy people in Ephesus who trust Jesus.

³ Praise God! He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Christ, He gave us every single gift the Spirit has. These gifts pour down from heaven.

⁷ In Christ, His blood paid the price to buy us back. Our sins? Forgiven. Wiped out. His grace is so deep and wide!

¹¹ In Christ, we were picked to be His own people. God is working out every part of His plan. He already decided this long ago.

¹⁵ That is why I have not stopped thanking God for you! Not since the day I heard about how you trust the Lord Jesus and love all of God's people.
