Ephesians
Paul wrote to believers in Ephesus. He called them holy and faithful in Christ. Grace and peace poured from his pen like warm oil. The words came from God the Father and Jesus the Messiah. They were meant to settle troubled hearts and make shaking hands steady.
Before the world was made, God chose His people. He planned it all. He would adopt them through Jesus. This was His loving will. He wanted to bring them into His own family. They would be holy and without blame. They would carry His name and feel deep joy in their bones.
In Christ, people are set free. Their sins are washed away by His blood. God's grace is rich and full. It pours over the top like water from a spring. And God has a big plan. He is pulling all things together under Christ. All things in heaven. All things on earth. One day, all will be one.
