Colossians 2

¹ I want you to know how hard I fight for you. For the believers in Laodicea too. For everyone who has never met me face to face.

⁸ Watch out! Do not let anyone trap you with empty thinking and lies. That stuff comes from what people made up. It comes from the dark spirits of this world. Not from Jesus.

¹⁴ He wiped out the whole list of charges against us. Every rule that pointed its finger at us! He took that written list and nailed it to the cross.

¹⁵ He ripped away their power! He tore the weapons right out of their hands. He put them on show for everyone to see. The cross was where He won!

¹⁶ So do not let anyone tell you what to eat or drink. Do not let them tell you what days to keep or not keep.
