Colossians

Paul and Timothy sent greetings to the believers in the city of Colossae. They called them faithful brothers and sisters in Christ. Grace and peace to you from God the Father! The letter came. A small group sat together. Someone broke the seal and began to read.

Paul gave thanks for their faith and their love! Hope was stored up for them in heaven like treasure in a safe room. The good news had reached them and was spreading like a vine that would not stop growing. A man named Epaphras taught them first. He was a faithful servant who never gave up!

Paul prayed that they would know what God wants! He asked for wisdom straight from the Spirit. He wanted them to walk in a way that made God glad. They had been pulled out of darkness! Now they belonged to the kingdom of God's own dear Son.
