25 Nadab son of Jeroboam grabbed Israel's throne when Asa hit his second year over Judah. Nadab ruled Israel two years.
27 Baasha son of Ahijah from Issachar's tribe worked up a secret plan against Nadab. Baasha cut Nadab down at Gibbethon, a Philistine town. Nadab and all Israel were hitting it hard when it happened.
29 The second Baasha sat as king, he killed everyone in Jeroboam's family. Not one person with Jeroboam's blood kept breathing. He wiped the whole house out, just like Yahweh spoke through Ahijah from Shiloh.
