1 Kings 13

¹ Right then a man of God showed up from Judah. Yahweh sent him with words to say. Jeroboam stood right there by the altar, burning incense.

⁶ The king said to the man of God, "Please! Beg Yahweh your God for me. Pray so my hand works again." The man of God prayed to Yahweh. The king's hand went back to normal. It worked again.

¹¹ An old prophet lived in Bethel. His sons came home. They told him everything the man of God did that day in Bethel. They told him the words he said to the king.

²³ After they finished eating, the old prophet put the saddle on the donkey for him.
