The religious leaders pushed through the crowd. Their faces were red. "Who said you could do this? Show us a sign!" Jesus looked at them and said something they did not understand. "Tear down this temple, and I will raise it in three days." They laughed. "It took forty-six years to build!" But...

Night. A man named Nicodemus moved through the dark streets of Jerusalem. He was a powerful religious leader — a man who knew every law, every rule. But something about Jesus pulled at him. He found Jesus and sat down. "Teacher," he said quietly, "we know God sent you."

Jesus said something Nicodemus did not expect. "No one can see God's kingdom unless they are born again." Nicodemus shook his head. How could a grown man be born a second time? Jesus said the first birth comes from your mother. But the second birth comes from God's Spirit. You must be born again...
