Romans 1

¹ I am Paul. I serve Jesus Christ as His slave. God called me to be an apostle. He set me apart to carry His good news!

⁸ I thank God for you through Jesus! Your faith? People talk about it everywhere I go!

¹⁶ I am not ashamed of the good news about Christ! It is God's power that saves everyone who believes. It came to the Jew first. Then it came to the Greek.

¹⁸ Look up! God's anger pours down from heaven! It burns against all the evil and wrong that people do. They know the truth, but they push it down and live wrong anyway!

²⁴ God let them go. He let them chase the bad things their hearts craved. They fell into filth. They shamed their own bodies.
