Revelation 13

¹ Then I stood on the sand by the sea. A beast came up out of the water! Ten horns! Seven heads! Ten crowns sat on the horns. Names that mocked God were written on the heads.

³ One of the beast's heads had a deep cut, like someone had killed it. But the deadly cut healed! The whole earth stood there shocked. They all ran after the beast.

⁸ Everyone on earth will bow down to it. Everyone! Everyone whose name is not written in the Lamb's book of life from the start of the world. This Lamb was killed.

⁹ If you have ears, hear this!

¹¹ Then I saw another beast come up out of the ground. It had two small horns like a lamb. But when it spoke, it sounded like a dragon.
