Matthew 21

¹ They came close to Jerusalem. They got to the little town of Bethphage near the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent two of his friends ahead.

⁸ A huge crowd took off their coats. They threw them down on the road in front of Jesus. Other people cut branches off the trees. They laid them down like a rug on the ground.

¹⁴ Blind people came to him in the temple. People who could not walk came too. He healed them all, one after another!

¹⁵ The chief priests saw it. The teachers of the law saw it. They heard little kids shouting in the temple, "Hosanna to David's son!" Their faces burned red with anger!

²⁸ "Let me tell you something. A man had two sons. He went to the first one. Son, go work in my grape field today."
