Matthew 13

¹ That same day, Jesus walked out of the house. He went down to the lake.

¹³ "This is why I speak to them in stories. They have eyes but they do not see. They have ears but they do not hear. They do not understand."

¹⁹ "The seed on the path is like someone who hears the message about the Kingdom but does not understand it. The evil one rushes in and tears away what was planted in their heart."

²⁰ "The seed on rocky ground is like someone who hears the message and grabs it with joy right away."

²² "The seed that falls in the thorns is the person who hears God's word. But worry about life and the lies of money choke the message out. Nothing grows."
