Matthew 11

John was locked up in jail. He heard about what the Messiah was doing. He sent some of his followers to ask Jesus a question.

Jesus told them, "Go back to John. Tell him what you saw and heard."

The men started walking back to John. Jesus turned to the crowds. "What did you go out to the desert to see? Tall grass bending when the wind blows?"

Then Jesus started speaking hard words to the towns where he did his biggest miracles. They would not turn back to God.

"Pain is coming for you, Chorazin! Pain is coming for you, Bethsaida! If the people in Tyre and Sidon had seen what you saw, they would have put on old rags and sat in ashes a long time ago. That is how sorry they would have been."
