Isaiah 61

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me. Yahweh has chosen me and set me apart. He sent me to bring good news to the poor. He sent me to heal broken hearts. He sent me to announce freedom to the captives, to tell prisoners they can leave the darkness.

¹⁰ I am full of joy because of Yahweh! My whole being celebrates because of my God! He dressed me in the clothes of salvation. He wrapped me in the robe of righteousness. I look like a groom wearing his crown, like a bride adorned with her jewels.
