Isaiah 42

¹ God says, "Here is my servant. I hold him tight. I picked him myself. My heart jumps with joy over him! I put my Spirit inside him. He will bring what is right to every nation on earth."

⁶ "I am Yahweh. I called you to do what is right. I will grab your hand tight. I will keep you safe. I give you as a promise to my people, a light for all nations."

¹⁸ "Hear me, you who cannot hear! Open your eyes and see, you who are blind!"

¹⁹ Who is more blind than my servant? Who is more deaf than the one I sent? Who is more blind than the one I healed? Who is more blind than the servant of Yahweh?
