Hebrews 12

¹ So look around! A huge crowd of people who trusted God stands all around us like a cloud! Throw off everything that weighs you down. Throw off the sin that wraps around your legs. Run the race that is set out in front of you! Run with a heart that does not quit!

⁴ You have not yet fought sin until blood came out of you.

¹⁴ Chase peace with everyone! Chase the holy life! Without it no one will see the Lord.

¹⁸ You have not come to a mountain you can touch with your hands. Not a mountain wrapped in fire! Not a mountain covered in darkness and gloom and storm.

²⁵ So do not say no to the One who is speaking! They did not get away when they said no to the one who warned them on earth. How much less will we get away if we turn from the One who warns from heaven!
