Hebrews 11

¹ Faith is being sure of what we hope for. Faith is knowing what we cannot see is real.

⁸ By faith Abraham heard God call him to a new place. God would give him that land. He obeyed and left. He did not even know where he was going!

¹⁷ By faith Abraham got tested by God. He offered up Isaac as a sacrifice. God gave him promises. Everything hung on Isaac! But Abraham was ready to give up his only son.

³² What else can I say? I would run out of time if I told you about Gideon. About Barak. About Samson. About Jephthah. About David. About Samuel. About all the prophets!
