Genesis 46
1 Israel packed up everything he owned. He set out on the road. He stopped at Beersheba. There he killed animals and gave them to the God of his father Isaac.
5 Jacob got up from Beersheba. His sons lifted him into the carts Pharaoh had sent. They put in their little children and wives.
28 Jacob sent Judah ahead to find Joseph. Judah would show them the way to Goshen. Then the whole family arrived in Goshen.
29 Joseph got his chariot ready. He raced out to meet his father Israel in Goshen! The moment he saw him, Joseph threw his arms around his father's neck. He cried and cried and cried for a long, long time.
31 Joseph told his brothers and everyone in his father's house, "I will go see Pharaoh. I will tell him you came from Canaan to be with me."
