Genesis 44

¹ After the meal, Joseph called his helper. "Fill their bags with as much grain as they can carry. Put each man's money back on top."

³ Morning light came. The brothers left. Their donkeys walked slow under the weight of all that grain.

⁷ The brothers stared at him. "Why would your master say this? We would never do such a thing!"

¹⁴ Judah and his brothers walked into Joseph's house. Joseph sat there waiting. They fell on their faces before him.

¹⁸ Judah stepped close. Very close. "My lord, please. Let me speak. Do not be angry. You have power like Pharaoh himself."
