Galatians 3

¹ You foolish people in Galatia! Who put a spell on you? Jesus the Messiah was shown to you as clear as a picture, nailed to a cross!

⁶ Abraham was the same way. The book says, "He trusted God, and God counted him as part of his people."

¹⁰ But here is the problem. Everyone who tries to get in by doing the rules is under a curse. The book says it plain. "Cursed is anyone who does not do every single thing written in the law."

¹³ But the Messiah saved us from the curse! He took the curse onto himself. The book says, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree."

¹⁵ Brothers and sisters, let me use something you know. When a person signs a deal, nobody can tear it up later or add more rules to it.
