Ezekiel 28

¹² Son of man, sing a sad song over the king of Tyre! Tell him: The Lord Yahweh says: You were the picture of everything perfect! You were full of wisdom! Beauty covered you completely!

¹³ You walked in Eden, the garden of God! Every kind of beautiful stone covered you: ruby, topaz, green stone, yellow stone, onyx, jasper, blue stone, bright stone, and beryl! Gold drums and flutes were part of you! They were made for you the day you were created!

¹⁴ You were the mighty cherub I chose to guard my throne! I set you on my holy mountain! You walked among stones that burned with fire!

¹⁵ Your ways were perfect from the day I made you. Until the day I found evil growing inside you!

¹⁶ Your endless trading filled you with anger and hate! Sin took root in you! So I threw you off my holy mountain like something dirty! I wiped you out, guardian cherub! I drove you away from the stones of fire!
