Daniel 8

⁵ Then a male goat raced in from the west! Moving so fast its feet never touched the ground! One huge horn stuck out between its eyes!

¹¹ It even stood up against the leader of heaven's army! It stopped the daily gifts to him! It knocked down his holy place!

¹² Because of sin, the army got handed over with the daily gifts. Truth got thrown down in the dirt! The horn did whatever it wanted. It won.

¹³ Then I heard a holy one speak. Another holy one asked him, "How long will this dream last? How long until the daily gifts come back? Until the evil sin ends? Until the stomping of God's holy place and army stops?"

¹⁴ He said to me, "Two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings. Then God's holy place will be made clean."
